Detailed Guide to Using MetaTrader 5 (MT5) on Mobile

Before proceeding with the installation of MT5, you need to log in to your Exness Personal Area to get your account and server information. Click here 👉 Log in to Exness for quick access and have your information ready!

Depending on the operating system you are using, follow these instructions:

1. With Android phones

• Open Google Play Store.
• Type in search: MetaTrader 5 by “MetaQuotes Software”.
• Click Install.
• Once done, open the MT5 application.

2. With iPhone (iOS)

• Open the App Store.
• Search for “MetaTrader 5”.
• Select the MetaQuotes app, click Download.
• Install and open the app once completed.

Once installed, you need to connect your Exness trading account to MT5 mobile:

1. Open the MetaTrader 5 application.
2. Select Settings → New Account.
3. Select Log in to an existing account.
4. In the search box, type “Exness”.
5. Select the server that matches your account (e.g. Exness-Real or Exness-Trial).
6. Enter MT5 account number and trading password → Click Sign In.

If using Android:

• Select Account Management in the main menu.
• Click on the trading account you want to work with under Accounts, enter the login details of that trading account if prompted, then Log In.
• MT5 will be logged in with that trading account.

If using iOS:

• Open MT5 and go to Settings.
• Tap the arrow next to an account to show all accounts logged in on the app.
• Click on any account to log in.
• MT5 will be logged in with that trading account.

To add (using Android):

• Go to Quotes section.
• Tap the + icon, then find the tool from the displayed groups.
• Click on any tool you want to add, it will be added to the list in Quotes.

To add (on iOS):

• Go to Quotes section.
• Click on the search bar to open a list of all available instrument groups for trading.
• Click the + icon next to the tool you want to add and it will be added to the Quotes list.

This is the most important operation when using MetaTrader 5 on mobile.

1. Open new order

• Go to Quotes.
• Select the instrument you want to trade (e.g. XAUUSD, EURUSD).
• Click Trade.
• Enter the volume you want to trade, for example 0.10 lot.
• Set Take Profit and Stop Loss if needed.
• Select Buy by Market or Sell by Market.

2. Close order

• Go to the Trade tab.
• Click on the open order → select Close.

3. Edit command

• Hold down the command → select Modify to adjust the TP/SL level.

• Always check leverage and margin before opening an order.
